The following tech trees are how they appear in the latest version of the game. The tech trees in WoTB have been changed many times, with the most well known and controversial change happening in Update 5.5, which saw the removal of many tanks from the trees (most are still available to players who researched them prior to the update, while others were removed entirely). Unlike the T7 though, the II D has the option to fire APCR rounds with an average 46mm of penetration. Its lackluster average penetration of 23mm with AP is the second least in the entire game and puts it behind even machinegun-armed tanks such as the T7 Combat Car.

Higher tier tanks generally get slower and more heavily armored, while lower tier tanks are lighter. D's most noticeable feature is, unfortunately, its very poor penetration ability. A tank line is a research line within a tech tree that usually consists of the same or similar kind of tank, with the next tank in a line being an improvement over the previous. By playing tanks, experience and credits are earned, which are used to research and purchase the next tier tank on the tech tree, until Tier X, which is the maximum tier. F (Europe).*Įach tank "researches" into the next tier. II (Germany), Cruiser II (Britain), T-26 (USSR), Ha-Go (Japan), VAE Type B (China), and Vickers Mk. Since Update 5.5, the starter tanks are: M2 Light (USA), R35 (France), Pz.

The countries that have tech trees in the game are U.S.A., France, Britain, U.S.S.R., Germany, Japan, China and the European Nation.*Įach player starts off with a Tier I tank from each tech tree.

World of Tanks Blitz is made up of Tech Trees.
